SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed with regard to the higher quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area every day. The assistance stage established for intervention encounters a superior inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it hard for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to permit the servicing of all customers and boost usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
